Kitsu Models, Brunei’s premier hobby shop, is excited to expand our dynamic team. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for the following positions:

1. Store Assistant cum Game Master

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Act as Game Master by hosting and facilitating in-store games and assisting customers and players as necessary
• Teach and explain game rules, mechanics, and formats to new and existing customers
• Keep up to date with game rules, formats, and hobby trends
• Maintain outstanding, clean store and facilities condition at all times
• Maintain a fully stocked store and ensure proper product display
• Determine customers’ needs and recommend suitable products
• Recommend, display, and upsell items that enhance the customer’s hobby experience
• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage point-of-sale processes accurately
• Handle payments by cash, card, or other approved methods
• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organising new shipments
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and inventory
• Accurately describe product features and benefits to customers
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints, escalating to management when necessary
• Support and participate in store events, tournaments, and community activities
• Contribute ideas to improve store operations, customer experience, and community engagement
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform any other duties as reasonably assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Passion for tabletop games, models, and the hobby industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and teach complex game systems.
• Prior retail or customer service experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

2. Sales and Marketing Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company’s social media platforms, including planning, creating, and scheduling content
• Develop engaging and relevant content aligned with the brand’s messaging and marketing objectives
• Monitor social media performance and suggest improvements based on insights and engagement data
• Analyse social media metrics to inform strategy and improve engagement.
• Respond to messages, comments, and enquiries across social media platforms in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to attract and engage potential customers
• Support the development of promotional materials, content ideas, and campaign strategies
• Research market trends, competitors, and audience behaviour to improve marketing effectiveness
• Assist in identifying and generating leads through digital platforms and outreach efforts
• Engage with potential corporate clients through calls, messages, and meetings to introduce services and secure business opportunities
• Support the coordination and execution of events, roadshows, and marketing activities
• Maintain accurate records of leads, campaigns, and outreach activities
• Work closely with the team to align marketing efforts with business development goals
• Contribute ideas to improve brand presence, customer engagement, and campaign performance
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform any other duties as reasonably assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of social media platforms (particularly Instagram) and digital marketing strategies.
• Creative thinking with the ability to generate engaging content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sales experience and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
