Season 2 of the Kitsu Models League

Kitsu Models League – Season 2 (September–December 2026)

The Kitsu Models League returns for Season 2, running from September 1st to December 20th, 2026! Whether you’re commanding armies on the tabletop or showing off your painting skills, this season offers exciting challenges, prizes, and community fun.

Painting League

Two categories are open for painters:

• Best Painted Single Mini
  • Hero miniature kits (single figure, with up to two secondary minis allowed).
  • Must be purchased from Kitsu Models after September 1st, 2026 and registered.
  • Entries must be presented physically in‑store before December 21st.
  • Multiple entries allowed.
• Best Painted Squad
  • A boxed set of 3+ miniatures.
  • Must be purchased from Kitsu Models after September 1st, 2026 and registered.
  • Entries must be presented physically in‑store before December 21st.
  • Multiple entries allowed.

Prizes:

• Winner of each category earns 1000 Kitsu credits.
• Plus, one painter will be randomly chosen for the Painter’s Lucky Draw — a Vallejo Shifters paint set.

Gaming League

Play tabletop wargames in‑store to earn points! Supported systems include: Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Kill Team, Warcry, Blood Bowl, Underworlds, Horus Heresy, The Old World, Legions Imperialis, Adeptus Titanicus, Middle‑Earth Strategy Battle Game, Necromunda, Star Wars Legion, and Star Wars Armada.

Scoring:

• Points awarded for wins, losses, and draws (varies by system).
• Bonus points:
  • +4 for teaching a tutorial game to a new player.
  • +1 for every 3 models painted to Battle‑Ready (max +3).

Prizes:

• 1st place: $30 Warhammer discount (or 600 credits).
• 2nd place: $10 Warhammer discount (or 200 credits).
• 3rd place: $7.50 Warhammer discount (or 150 credits).
• Others: credits based on league points, capped at 150 credits.
• Discounts valid until January 31st, 2027.

Entry Fees

• $5 for Gaming League
• $5 for Painting League
• Players may enter both.
